Immediately following the Boulder County floods of 2013 Anders Environmental was contracted to provide emergency road construction services. The floods had wiped out access roads to multiple remote mountain communities. Anders Environmental crews restored access for emergency personnel and residents by quickly mobilizing multiple earthwork crews to reconstruct over 20 miles of mountain roads that were destroyed during the floods. During construction Anders Environmental worked with the US Army Core of Engineers to develop sedimentation ponds downstream of each active construction zone to minimize water quality disturbances.
